Blockgate: The fines stand!
The Secretary of State office didn’t take too kindly to Jerome Block Jr.’s latest missive and has issued its final order: pay $11,000 in fines and return $10,700 in public campaign money by November 14.
Block can appeal to an arbitrator.
I wonder whether Block still has that $10,700 on election eve.

So, what do you think, Maas? Will the voters elect the guy who’s been advocating for consumers and small business for 15 years, or the guy who’s already misspent their money and lied about it and hasn’t been endorsed by a single candidate or officeholder from his own party?

Heck if i know. I was looking at the final voter registration numbers. Lass would have to get all the republicans, all the DTS and a nice chunk of the dems. You’re in a better position to know than me.

And it’s M-A-A-S-S! Why can’t anyone get my name right??

I’d like to think it’ll be Lass. Lord knows, I and all the other Republicans I know (and there are a few — just a few — others here in Santa Fe) will be voting for him. I have a feeling it won’t be enough, though. There are just too many people who can’t see beyond the big (D).

OMG - I so typo’ed that. I know how to spell your last name, but I did screw it up in my post. Consider that one fixed. I feel bad. Really. My sister-in-law of 20+ years still spells my name wrong.

Hahahaha…. no, no one knows how to spell my name. Not even Kate Nash at the New Mex. http://kn-sfnm.livejournal.com/54116.html

Sorry, Dave. Can I call you Dave? I can spell Dave, whereas Maass seems to be too much of a challenge for me.
Don’t know where things stand vis a vis polls and such. I just hope that the work you and the Optic and others have done has penetrated deeply enough into the electorate.
