Cool. Already Obama is raising the bar of political discourse, even if the level had to drop even lower than during the Clinton years (”Bill & Hillary killed Vince Foster! And Ron Brown!”) before it started to bounce back up. McCain and Palin let this go on too long before correcting it, but I’m glad to see McCain correcting it. Thanks for posting this.
Now I’d like to see McCain reply, when some doofus says Obama is “an Arab”, “And what is wrong with being an Arab, or a Muslim?”
AND I’d like to see the Republican Party repudiate the fundamentalists and get back to being advocates of balanced budgets, less-intrusive government, and valuing families and work. That’s a party we need.
